Court: Man Denies Touching Young Girl
Appearing in Magistrates Court, a 43-year-old man pleaded not guilty to multiple charges involving sexual offences with a young girl.
The charges alleged that between a date unknown in June 2014 and September 2014, he had shown offensive material of a sexual nature to the girl.
That between June 2014 and August 2015, as a person in a position of trust, he had touched the girl improperly.
That in January 2016, he had intruded on the privacy of the girl; and that he had committed an indecent act while intending it to be seen by the girl.
Magistrate Khamisi Tokunbo set a Mention date for January 2017, and the defendant was granted bail of $10,000 with one surety, and ordered to have no contact with the girl.
