Photos: Tennis Double Elimination Tournament
The Bermuda Lawn Tennis Association’s Christmas Double Elimination Tournament moved into day three with two matches played at the WER Joell Tennis Stadium.
Following his shock defeat on the first day of tennis action, the number one seed David Thomas took on youngster Trey Mallory winning in straight sets 6 – 1, 6 – 2.
The other match was decided in a three setter between Dylan Powell and William Way, with Powell coming from a set down to win. Way won the first set 6 – 1, but Powell would level the match at 1 – 1 when he won the second set 6 – 3. Powell would close out the win recording a 6 – 1 win in the third set to claim the victory.
