Friends Of Hospice Hold ‘Memorial Moon Walk’
Friends of Hospice held their first ‘Memorial Moon Walk’ last night to “celebrate family and friends who are living with a life limiting illness and to remember those near and dear to us who have passed away.”
A spokesperson said, “The first Memorial Moon Walk proved to be a wonderful night with about 130 participants tranquilly strolling from Chaplin Bay to Horseshoe Bay and back.
“At the end of the walk on Chaplin Bay candles were lit by participants and the moon slowly emerged from behind the clouds to create a wonderful atmosphere to reflect on loved ones that had passed away.”
