Photos: Overseas Swimmers At Aquatics Center

The National Sports Center [NSC] is playing host to two winter training camps with overseas swimmers from separate organizations taking part, with the Bermuda Tourism Authority [BTA] sports tourism partnership welcoming swimmers from the Indiana University and Germantown Academy.

About 70 swimmers from Indiana University and 30 from Germantown Academy are training in Bermuda between December 29 and January 5.

The Indiana team includes Olympic medallists Lilly King, who won gold in the 100m breaststroke and medley relay; Blake Pieroni gold medal winner in the 400m freestyle relay; and Cody Miller, a gold medallist in the medley relay and a bronze medallist in the 100m breaststroke. Zane Grothe will be amongst the Olympians.

The Germantown Academy Swim/Dive Team included 25 athletes and four coaches, including Donny Brush [High-performance coach] and Jeff Thompson [Head Coach]. The Indiana University Swim Team includes 73 athletes and nine coaches, including Ray Looze [Head Coach] and Mike Westphal [Assistant Coach].
