Final “Bonfires & BBQ” Event Of The Summer
S’mores, live fire performers and a washing machine of rum swizzle are among the hallmarks of the final Bonfires & BBQ of the summer. The June 22nd street festival on Front Street is the last of three celebration zones put on by the Bermuda Tourism Authority in partnership with the Corporation of Hamilton.

“Our goal is visitor events that are authentic and memorable; Bonfires & BBQ hit on both fronts,” said Bermuda Tourism Authority Chief Product and Experiences Development Officer Pat Phillip-Fairn.
“We encourage visitors and locals to come out and enjoy the spectacle. People got a taste on Front Street June 8th and they provided some good feedback. Based on what we heard we expect things to be even better this time.”
The free-to-enter event is for adults only given the fire pits and alcoholic beverages, including a beer garden and rum swizzle served from a washing machine. Food and beverage vendors include Jamaican Grill, Grillin Sticks, Sensational Delights and Ashley’s Lemonade.
Rock Fire Productions and H & H Gombeys will perform along with other live local acts. Retailers include TABS, Alexandra Mosher and Lifestyles BDA. Cigars by Bermuda Cigar Company and popsicles by Duch Pops are planned too. The event begins at 7pm.
The second celebration zone location was St. George on June 14th where the theme was maritime-inspired, known as Pirates and Plunder.
