Bermuda applied early pressure, but it was Nicaragua who took the lead, they won a corner and when Bermuda failed to clear the ball it was put away.
Bermuda quickly equalized when a free kick into the box saw Spence react quickest and score.
The teams battled for the remainder of the half, but neither could break the back of the net as they went to the break with the score at 1 – 1.
With Bermuda enjoying the better play in the second half, they would find themselves down 2 – 1, but they came close to replying immediately, but Spence’s shot went just wide.
However, Nicaragua then scored their third goal, and the match ended with them recording the 3 – 1 victory.
