Junior Fishing Tournament On August 20th
The sixth annual Junior Fishing Tournament is set to take place later this month, with the event — run by the Bermuda Anglers Club [BAC] — open to all boys and girls 16 years of age or under.
“The tournament will be held on Sunday 20th August 2017 on a rain or shine basis and kids will be able to start fishing at 8.30am in the morning. And it’s free to enter! Entry forms are available online at www.bermudaanglersclub.com,” BAC said.
Tournament Director and Club President Kip Froud commented that the BAC has been delighted with the response to this year’s tournament.
Froud said, “This is a great event on the summer calendar. We are excited One Communications Limited and Conyers Dill & Pearman have so generously come on board as principal sponsors of this event. We expect to announce further sponsors soon”.
“The weigh-in will be held west of the Flagpole on Front Street between 3pm and 5pm on Sunday 20th August. And each child that comes to the weigh station will receive a cool free t-shirt,” BAC added.
“Prize giving will be held at the Royal Hamilton Amateur Dinghy Club on Saturday 26 th August at 10.00am. 25 prizes are up for grabs.
