Local Celebrities Announced For Netball Match
Opposition Leader Patricia Gordon-Pamplin, Powergirl, Senator Crystal Caesar, Ninja Cutty, Dominique Mayho, Senator Nick Kempe, MP Renee Ming, and Lionel Cann are among the local ‘celebrities’ ready to hit the courts for this Saturday’s Celebrity Exhibition Netball Match
This Saturday [Sept 9], the Bermuda Netball Association will present the Celebrity Exhibition Netball Match from 7.00pm to 9.00pm at the Bermuda College Gym, with music by DJ Jugglin’ Jason.
A spokesperson said, “The BNA will be hosting its first ever Celebrity Exhibition Netball Match. Both male and female local celebrities will be joining forces on Saturday, September 9th for what promises to be the most anticipated netball event of the year.
“Our local celebrities are ready to show off their skills on the court. The event will feature government officials, comedians, radio personalities and many more.”
The BNA has been announcing the players on social media and those announced so far include Opposition Leader Patricia Gordon-Pamplin, MP Renee Ming, sports reporter Earl Basden, radio personality Nikita Robinson, cricketer Jordan Desilva, Senator Nick Kempe, Powergirl, Anthony Mouchette, DJ Jada, Mista Genius, Jah Simmons, Ninja Cutty, cyclist Dominique Mayho, Senator Crystal Caesar, cricketer Lionel Cann, Senator Nandi Outerbridge, and DJ iBreeze.
Adults are $10 and children and seniors are $5. Proceeds are in aid of the BNA’s National Program.
Update: Since the original story, the BNA has announced additional players including professional boxer Nikki Bascome, Union leader & Senator Jason Hayward, and BFA President Mark Wade.
