Motorcycle Rider Injured In Ord Road Collision

[Updated] Emergency services responded to a collision this evening [Dec 10] on Ord Road where it appears a motorcycle and car collided resulting in the motorcycle rider sustaining injuries and being transported to King Edward Memorial Hospital for treatment. Update December 12, 2.25pm: A police spokesperson said, “Around 6:20pm Sunday, December 10th police and first responders attended a reported two vehicle collision in the Ord Road, Tribe Road No. 2 Warwick area involving a car and a motorcycle.

“The rider, believed to be an 18 year old Warwick man, apparently sustained injuries to his arm and shoulder. He was taken to King Edward VII Memorial Hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.

“There were no other injuries reported. However, both vehicles were damaged. Any witnesses are asked to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
