Photos: Christmas Trees Decorated By Charities
The Washington Mall is playing host to a number of Christmas trees, with the initiative serving to bring festive cheer to the Mall while also assisting the island’s charities, as charitable donations of $2,500; $1,000; and $750 will be made to the winners.
This year the focus was on charities that deal with disabilities, so seven charities decorated a Christmas Tree in the Washington Mall; with Summerhaven, Windreach, Action on Alzheimers, BASE, Committee of 25, Project 100 and Hope Academy all taking part.
The organisers also have a People’s Choice award, allowing the public to vote from now until December 15th. The winners will be announced on Monday, December 18th.
