BPS Appeal: Witnesses To Robbery At Belvin’s
Police continue to appeal for witnesses to the robbery at Belvin’s Variety in Smith’s parish where a male gained entry and stole an undisclosed amount of cash.
A police spokesperson said, “On Sunday, January 28th police responded to a robbery at Belvin’s Variety in Smith’s parish where a male gained entry and stole an undisclosed amount of cash. Detectives continue to appeal for witnesses and anyone with any information is asked to contact Sergeant Hayden Small at the Criminal Investigation Department on 247-1744.
“There is also CCTV footage of the incident circulating on the internet. While the footage provides a good description of the suspect[s], police did not authorise the dissemination of the clip. We are looking into this further with a view to understanding how the footage got into the public domain.”
