PLP Meet & Greet: Constituencies 9,10,11,13
The PLP will be hosting a meet and greet from Constituencies 9, 10, 11 and 13 with their MPs and area representatives on Saturday [Feb 3] from 2.00pm to 5.00pm at Elliot Primary School, with Senator Vance Campbell, Dr. Ernest Peets, MP Chris Famous and Minister Diallo Rabain to be in attendance.
A PLP spokesperson said, “The Progressive Labour Party invites area residents from Constituencies 9, 10, 11 and 13 to a Meet and Greet with their MPs and area representatives on Saturday February 3rd from 2pm-5pm at Elliot Primary School.
“Share your thoughts and ideas about what you would like to see from your MP’s and concerns for your area. Soup and sandwiches will be served.
“In attendance will be:
- Senator Vance Campbell – Constituency #9– Smith’s West,
- Dr. Ernest Peets – Constituency #10 – Smith’s North,
- Chris Famous JP, MP – Constituency #11 – Devonshire East,
- The Hon. Diallo Rabain JP, MP – Constituency #13 – Devonshire North Central.

They can’t work out how to get the trash picked up but they can find time to drive their big new shiny taxpayer-funded cars to photo ops.
You oba/UBPERS will say anything to get my people to vote for you. You even replace the leader with smoke and mirrors. You hired consultants to tell you change the name and tried to give every person Bermuda status. What you need to do is hire a consultant to research why people of color have left you. After you figure that out you might just win again.
The previous Bermuda Democratic Alliance (BDA) Party should never have merged with you. We would have been in power today.
Mr.Thad Hollis was so correct when he departed ways with you and Nick Kemp was another to reveal the truth in the oba/UBP.
You do realized that this was an issue prior to the PLP getting in Government in July right? You also do realize that when the OBA had the funds to purchase new trucks they gave it to America’s Cup which did nothing but add additional strain on an already overtaxed system.
AND What new cars are the PLP driving around in? I think they are driving around in the same cars that the OBA governement said they were going to not drive but ended up using to drive to the same events that they had all those wonderful “photo ops” you are complaining about the PLP having!
If you think you can do a better job I would suggest you run for political office!
Clearly to try and pass the blame on their failure to provide services.
