Bermuda Sailors Move Up Ranks In France
Bermuda’s Adriana Penruddocke, Sebastian Kempe and Campbell Patton continue to compete at the 57th Semaine Olympique Française de Hyères, with Penruddocke leading the ILCA 6 Silver Fleet, Kempe climbing to 17th overall in ILCA 7, and Patton sitting 35th.
Adriana Penruddocke leads the Silver Fleet with 17 points. She missed the Gold Fleet cut by four points on Tuesday but recorded finishes of 7th and 8th on Wednesday to sit 46th overall, moving up one place in the standings.
Sebastian Kempe continued his rise up the standings, moving from 41st to 17th overall. He placed 18th in the first race and 3rd in the second, improving 24 positions on the day after climbing 58 places on Tuesday.
Campbell Patton sits 35th overall after finishes of 25th and 33rd, giving him a total of 91 points.
