PO Box E-Payments Temporarily Out Of Service

The BPO Online post office box payment system is temporarily out of service, the Post Office said, adding that those wishing to make payments for annual post office box rentals are asked to visit their nearest post office.

A Government spokesperson said, “The public is advised that the Bermuda Post Office’s [BPO] Online post office box payment system is temporarily out of service.

“Those wishing to make payments for their annual post office box rentals are asked to visit their nearest post office.

“The BPO apologizes to its customers for this inconvenience and thanks the public for its support as they endeavor to restore the service.”

    It only needs to be in operation once a year.

    In January all the PO Box rentals are due. So when do they find out their online system is down? In January when all their customers try to pay the rental fees.

    Unlike the buses, you can’t blame this on a lack of spare parts. This is just pure incompetence.

    So using internet to pay for post office boxes…kind of like falling on your own sword I think….give me time and perhaps a better analogy will come. Should we close post offices? But I want my BMW to be paid for just like everyone else.
