Court: Police Officer Denies Wounding Charge
Appearing in Magistrates Court today [Feb 2], a 39-year-old police officer was charged with unlawfully wounding another person.
During this morning’s Plea Court session, Oswin Pereira pleaded not guilty to unlawfully wounding a man on May 13th of last year, ZBM reported.
Magistrate Tyrone Chin granted the defendant $2,000 bail with a like surety and ordered him not to contact the complainant.
He is due to reappear in court later this month.
