Rider Recovering After Collision In Devonshire

The 65-year-old man who was injured in a collision in Devonshire is recovering, and is listed in stable condition at the hospital.

A police spokesperson said, “At last check this morning [February 28th] the motorcyclist injured after colliding with two cars on North Shore Road in Devonshire near the junction with Barkers Hill Tuesday afternoon – believed to be a 65 year old Devonshire man – was said to be recovering in stable condition at the hospital.

“He was initially admitted to the Intensive Care Unit in stable condition. There were no other injuries reported. However, all three vehicles involved were damaged.

“It now appears that the collision occurred as the 65 year old motorcyclist was traveling west and the two cars were being driven in the opposite direction along North Shore Road around 5:30pm Tuesday, February 27th.

“Inquiries continue and any witnesses are still encouraged to contact the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
