Photos/Results: Bermuda Premier & First Division

Boulevard Blazers, PHC Zebras, Devonshire Cougars, X-Road’s, Somerset Eagles, BAA, Paget Lions, Southampton Rangers, and Hamilton Parish all walked away with wins in recent Premier and First Division football action.

Premier Division: Young Men Social Club 2 Boulevard Blazers 3

The Boulevard Blazers travelled to the Police Field and defeated Young Men Social Club 3 – 2. Aldonte Smith would score twice for the visitors, while Khiry Easton added the other, Saki Tuzo and Michael Smith would score for Young Men Social Club.

Premier Division: PHC Zebras 4 Somerset Trojans 0

At the PHC Stadium, league leaders PHC Zebras defeated the visiting Somerset Trojans 4 – 0. The PHC Zebras got goals from Idress Sharrieff, Marco Warren and Trey Ming as well as an own goal.

Premier Division: Devonshire Cougars 4 Dandy Town Hornets 2

At the Devonshire Rec. the Devonshire Cougars put a hold on the Dandy Town Hornets league title charge with this 4 – 2 victory. The Devonshire Cougars got single strikes from Lovintz Tota, Mark Steede, Allan Douglas Jr. and Jawonday Smith, while Ernest Trott and Damon Ming scored a goal each for the Dandy Town Hornets.

Premier Division: X-Road’s 4 North Village Rams 2

At the Garrison Field, X-Road’s defeated the North Village Rams 4 – 2, X-Road’s would get two goals from Paul Simons, with single strikes from Kashi Davis-Jones and Kahmori Brangman, while Kieshen Bean scored twice for the North Village Rams.

First Division: Devonshire Colts 0 Somerset Eagles 4

At the Police Field, visiting Somerset Eagles defeated the Devonshire Colts 4 – 0, the Somerset Eagles got single strikes from Cardel Henry, Anwar Telford, Allan Wilkinson and D’Andre Wainwright.

First Division: BAA 5 St. George’s Colts 2

At the BAA Field, the home team BAA kept their bid to win the First Division and gain promotion alive with a 5 – 2 win over the St. George’s Colts, Kane Crichlow led the way with a hat-trick, while Antonio Carvelho and Morricko Iris added a goal each, while David Signor and Donavan Thompson scored a goal each for the St. George’s Colts.

First Division: Wolves 0 Paget Lions 4

At Lord’s in St. David’s, league leaders Paget defeated Wolves 4 – 0, Paget lions would get single strikes from Travis Wilkinson, Tahj Wade and McQuinn Burch to go along with an own goal.

First Division: Southampton Rangers 4 Ireland Rangers 0

At the Southampton Oval, the Southampton Rangers undefeated run continued as they defeated Ireland Rangers 4 – 0, which also keeps their title and promotion hopes alive. Khalil Symonds scored twice, with Quadir Maynard and Ezekial Stoneham adding a goal each.

First Division: Hamilton Parish 3 St. David’s 1

At the Wellington Oval, Hamilton Parish defeated St. David’s 3 – 1 to pick up their first win of the season. Hamilton Parish got goals from Nigel Burgess, John Hunt-Tucker and Pedro Medeiros, while Stanwon Swan scored the lone goal for St. David’s.
