Bermuda Karate Organization Ratings

Based on Sensei Root’s Shiai in February and the recent Bermuda Open Karate Championships, a number of competitors are top rated for 2018 after accumulating at least 12 points.

A spokesperson said, “Those competitors include Kentaro Bean 31, Aston and Aidan Eatherley 20, Dash Bailey 18, and Amiel Trott 16 [junior boys]; Milahn Powell 28, Dominique Brown 17, Arima Turner 16, and Kianna Aguiar-Vaughns 12 [junior girls]; Kent Bean 16 [men]; Talia Iris 32 and Jashae Allen-LaMontagne 17 [women]; Deryck Raymond 18 and Anthony Leader 12 [masters men]; and Andrea McKey 16 [masters women].

“The Lepercq Memorial on August 19 and the Skippy Kick on November 4 will complete the tally of points, with three or more top scorers being sponsored to an overseas event.”
