Bermuda’s Top 50 Twitter List For April 2018

Shaun Goater’s popularity never wanes. The Manchester City legend and current Ilkeston manager moved up to sixth in the Bermuda Twitter Rankings. The Goat saw a nearly 40 percent increase in his number of followers over the past three months.

He now has 39,452 Twitter fans, which is 2,000 more than fellow footballer Nahki Wells.

While the top five spots all remained the same — WWE superstar John Layfield, Dr Cindy Trimm, Don Burgess, Ledrew Fox and reggae star Collie Buddz ¬ there was a major shakeup in the seven slots. Duddley Duddley fell from the sixth slot to number 12 as his account was purged of around 14,000 followers. This allowed Fiyah Marshall [#9] to move up one spot and the Bermuda Tourism Authority to crack the top 10 for the first time.

Commonwealth Games gold medallist and reigning world triathlon champion continues to see her account gain traction and will likely crack the 10,000 follower mark before the end of the month.

The Bermuda Cricket Board was the biggest mover of the month going from 29th to 34th.

Chris Garrod broke into the top 50 for the first time, sliding into the 48th position.
