Loren Hotel To Host Rothschild Dinner In May
The Loren Hotel at Pink Beach is gearing up to welcome Baron Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild, owner of Chateau Mouton Rothschild, and Managing Director Frédéric Mairesse who will host a special Barons de Rothschild dinner on Tuesday, May 1st.
Guests will enjoy a five course menu created by The Loren’s Executive Chef Tim Sullivan and each course will be paired with a glass of Barons de Rothschild wine or champagne.
The evening will start at 7PM with hors d’oeuvres and welcome champagne in The Loren’s exquisite Marée dining room.
Baron Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild is the younger son of Baroness Philippine de Rothschild and along with his brother and sister, Philippe and Camille Sereys de Tothschild, co-owns Château Mouton Rothschild, Château Clerc Milon and Château d’Armailhac.
Since Baroness Philippine’s death in 2014, Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild, with his brother and sister, has sought to perpetuate the same quest for excellence in both Château wines and branded wines, including the Mouton Cadet. More specifically, he nurtures and enhances the singular relationship between wine and art at Mouton.
The hotel said, “The Barons de Rothschild dinner is the latest in The Loren’s popular series of curated dinners, the previous of which were held in partnership with Two Rock Wine Company. The Loren’s culinary vision is focused on seasonal cuisine using fresh, local ingredients from trusted local farmers and fishermen. ”
The Loren’s Executive Chef Tim Sullivan said, “It’s a great honour and privilege to have Julien de Beaumarchais de Rothschild and Frédéric Mairesse here for this one of a kind event.
“We’ve collaborated with them to create a delicious, gourmet menu to accompany their champagne and wine that is sure to impress the island’s foodies. We are always looking to expand our offering at The Loren, especially with curated events.
