BHA Extend Condolences To Selley Family
The members of the Bermuda Hotel Association and the Hotel Employers of Bermuda said they are saddened to learn of the passing of Mr. Colin Selley, a former long serving Director of the former Department of Tourism and it’s frontrunner, the Bermuda News Bureau.
Stephen Todd, Chief Executive Officer stated, “The significant contributions which Mr. Selley made over the many number of years that he worked tirelessly in promoting the Bermuda tourism product, laid the foundation for the decades of positive growth we experienced in the tourism industry, which at that time was the main pillar of the economy.
“Mr. Selley can be credited with the island being recognized internationally as the leading travel destination, which lead to several countries seeking to replicate our very successful model”.
“On behalf of our past and present association members, we extend our sincere condolences to his family on the passing of Mr. Selley.”
