SVR Party Now Features All-Inclusive Concept
One of the island’s biggest Cup Match after parties is back this year with a new concept, a new focus and a new vibe.
SVR will take place on Cup Match Friday – August 3 – in the Royal Naval Dockyard and organisers decided to revamp and rebrand the SVR package after 11 years of being a staple event on the Bermuda calendar.
“This biggest change this year is the concept – SVR is now a fully all-inclusive event, which means all-inclusive music, drinks, food, people and vibes. This style of party is in line with what is being offered at high demand throughout the Caribbean,” the organisers said.
“Additionally, SVR is going back to its roots with an all DJ lineup rather than having artists perform, as has been the norm in recent years. When the event started in 2007, it featured an all-star lineup of DJs.
“Over the years, the event became more performer focused, but this year, SVR comes back home. International DJs include DJ Willy Chin from Miami, New York’s Kevin Crown and all the way from Chile, Red Bull Freestyle Champion DJ Byte. Bermudian DJs include DJ Chubb, DJ Choice, Supatone and DJ Markie T.”
“There will be open bars offering a select choice of brands and multiple food stations on offer, which is all included in the ticket price.
“Those patrons looking for a more high-end experience can purchase cabanas and premium beverages. Each cabana comes with free entry for six patrons but the space can accommodate ten.
“The cabanas come with seating, two bottles of premium liquor with an assortment of chasers, WKDs, beer and Red Bull and personal bar service. Bottle preferences should be provided ahead of time to ensure selections are available. A limited number of cabanas are available for purchase and can be secured by emailing svrbda@gmail.com.”
Daniel Reece, Organiser, SVR, says: “This year, we are pulling out all the stops to make sure SVR is the biggest and best Cup Match after party. Our goal is to make sure that our patrons have a comprehensive experience and making the event fully all-inclusive is our way of doing that. We encourage our regulars and also those who’ve never experienced SVR to come out for a phenomenal experience like no other.”
Regular tickets are $95 for the all-inclusive experience and are available at Stefanel, Kit & Kaboodle, various island-wide outlets and online at www.ptix.bm. For more information on SVR, email svrbda@gmail.com.
