Video: Rodney Smith Jr On CBS This Morning
Bermudian Rodney Smith Jr continues to see his effort to offer free lawn mowing services to veterans, the elderly, and single mothers earn media attention, with CBS This Morning recently featuring the young man and his charitable undertaking.
Mr. Smith’s cause has lead to the launch of ‘Raising Men Lawn Care Service,’ a charitable effort starting in Bermuda that he hopes will “expand around the world.”
The Bermudian’s good deeds have also caught the attention of WHNT news in Huntsville, Alabama, the Huffington Post, NBC News, and Fox News, each of which featured both Smith Jr and the work he has undertaken across the United States.
All of Bermuda should be so proud of this young man . We should all stop and look at how we can help each other here on our Little Rock .
Couldn’t agree more! Very proud!
Awesome to see a son of the soil doing good and spreading the love. We could all learn from him
Rodney is what a real National Hero looks like
ALL 50 States….
100 to 1 says he wont!
(Alaska comes to mind).
Why make a dumb comment like that ? Shows you didn’t even view the video. He’s done Alaska ! Twat
And as for ‘Sheldon’ above , what’s with the ‘son of the soil’ reference ?
Good old Bermudian would have sufficed without any subliminal inferences .
Wow so sensitive! Go hug a tree!
Agree, he “loves America” and already helped folks in Alaska and no “gribble & groan” from him either (blaming the States for ailments), he’s far too busy and humble for that, terrific guy.
I guess you didn’t watch the whole video.
Fact of the rock you never left the rock to even know anything
Good young man, from a fantastic family. Congrats to the Smith’s
i couldn’t believe he wasn’t nominated for the bermuda hero’ Weekend this year.
Keep following your passion, it will bring you great rewards, just as long as you remember your foundation and were you come from, no one can stop you, from were you are going.
We in Bermuda are encouraging you to press on, as you make ordinary people realize that there are still good people in this World, but also keeping in mind what you have been taught, As you have done these thing’s to whom some may consider the least among us, you have done this in the name of Jesus Christ, and are a true reflection of who Jesus is.
Your parents and family are proud of you, but I am bias, I think you get most of your generosity from your Mom, Smile Mommy, you know I had to go there, well done Rodney Jr, show your Dad he did instill values that go a long way and for that you and your parents will be richly rewarded in ways that only God can say, Well Done.
