Attempted Handbag & Chain Snatching Incidents
There was an attempted chain snatching in Pembroke this morning [Aug 16] as well as as attempted handbag snatching in Warwick, however in both cases the would-be victims managed to successfully fend of the thieves.
Attempted Chain Snatching
A police spokesperson said, “At approximately 8:45am today, police received a report of an attempted robbery from the male victim on Parsons Road, Pembroke in the vicinity of Happy Talk Lane.
“It appears that a man was riding a motorcycle travelling down Parsons Road when two men on a motorcycle rode next to him and one of the male suspects tried to grab a chain from his neck.
“The victim somehow managed to keep possession of the chain and the suspects then quickly left the area on their motorcycle.
Attempted Handbag Snatching
“Meantime, at approximately 10:16am today, police responded to a report of an incident that took place on Burnt House Hill in Warwick.
“Upon police arrival it was ascertained that a female victim was standing at the junction of Burnt House Hill and Paddock Drive when the two suspects on a motorcycle rode down Burnt House Hill, stopped and began to talk to the victim.
“The passenger then got off the cycle, confronted the victim and tried to snatch her handbag. The victim fought off the suspect and retained possession of her handbag. The suspects continued down Burnt House Hill empty handed.”
Investigations Underway
“Investigations into both of this incidents are now underway and it does not appear these two events are related. Anyone with any information should contact CID on 2950011.”

When the hoodlums are caught cut their hands off. Nasty buggers need a good whipping then whip the parents for creating the monsters they have raised.
Sounds like all the incidents today are related.

Time to bring back those cruise ship passengers from NYC who handed out summary punishment to the two punks who tried to rob them.

Oh yeah. That was pre-election.
Thieves should have their hands cut off. Rapists should have their private parts cut off. House burglars should have their feet cut off. Gang members should be thrown in prison shackled to serve manual labor for 40 years, so they grow old and too lazy to continue gang life. Enact these laws please! It would be nice to see a long line of shackled gangsters sweeping streets together, so everyone can honk and shout at them and see their faces. Families who harbour gang members should be shackled alongside them, birds of a feather.
