Lightning Seen This Morning Over The East End
Lightning was seen early this morning [Sept 19] over the east end, with Bernews capturing a quick look at the natural light show as the phenomena lit up clouds in the sky with these photos taken at about 6.50am.
The Bermuda Weather Service public synopsis says, “An area of low pressure in our vicinity will bring a few showers and a chance of thunder today. A cold front now just off the U.S. east coast will approach and a new low will develop along the front to our northeast tonight. This low will move over Bermuda Thursday night with periods of rain or showers, possible thunder and strong winds.
Today’s forecast says, “Mostly cloudy with a few showers, chance of thunder. Winds west-northwesterly light to moderate, gusts to strong with showers, backing west-southwesterly this afternoon.”
