Clarien Donates $85,000 To Bermuda Charities
Clarien Bank has donated a total of $85,000 to five Bermuda charities as part of the Bank’s annual giving programme; with the Reading Clinic, Coalition for the Protection of Children, Tomorrow’s Voices, YouthNet, and Bermuda Youth Rugby all receiving donations.
The donations were made through The Clarien Foundation, the Bank’s charitable trust, and follow donations of $91,000 made to nine charities in March, 2018.

Ian Truran, Chief Executive Officer of Clarien Bank, made presentations to the following charities:
- The Reading Clinic – $50,000
- Coalition for the Protection of Children – $10,000
- Tomorrow’s Voices – $10,000
- YouthNet – $10,000
- Bermuda Youth Rugby – $5,000
Mr. Truran said: “Clarien Bank is delighted to be able to make contributions to these charities who year in, year out, provide such valuable services to our community.
“All of these organisations embody the commitment of The Clarien Foundation in supporting charities dedicated to youth development, education, health and human services. We hope that our contributions will help all of these organisations continue their valuable work.
“In addition to providing financial contributions, we also actively encourage our employees to give of their time in support of the community we serve. We are pleased to report that Clarien employees generously volunteer with The Reading Clinic by reading to young children to support the Clinic’s I-Play pre-school literacy programme.”
