A 37-year-old Jamaican man denied two drug charges and an obstruction charge during the Supreme Court Arraignments Session.

Omar Davy whispered barely audible not guilty pleas to the charges of importation of heroin in July 2018, and possession of heroin with intent to supply, also on the same date.

He also pleaded not guilty to willful obstruction of a customs officer by running off before the officer could complete inspection of Mr Davy and his luggage. That offence also allegedly occurred in July.

His trial is set for January 14, 2019.
