Woman & Man Injured In Separate Collisions
A 26-year-old woman was injured in a collision in Smiths, while a 43-year-old man was injured following a motorcycle crash in Paget.
Three Vehicle Collision in Smiths
A police spokesperson said, “Around 8am Thursday, October 4th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported collision in the Middle Road, Store Hill Smiths parish area.
“It appears that a motorcyclist and a van driver were traveling east along Middle Road and a car driver was traveling in the opposite direction when the collision occurred, causing some traffic delays.
“The rider, believed to be a 26-year-old Hamilton parish woman, was injured and all three vehicles damaged.
“She was transported to hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.
“Any witnesses are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.
Single Vehicle Motorcycle Crash in Paget
“Around 7am Thursday, October 4th police and fellow first responders were dispatched to a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash on Harbour Road in Paget near the junction with Salt Kettle Road,” the police said.
“A 43-year-old man believed to be from Sandys parish was hurt in the incident, which apparently occurred as he was traveling east on Harbour Road and caused some traffic delays.
“The injured motorcyclist was transported to hospital via ambulance for treatment and later discharged.
“Any witnesses that have not already come forward are asked to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
