Bermuda HealthCare To Give Away Turkeys

Bermuda HealthCare Services [BHCS], in conjunction with Brown-Darrell Clinic and Bermuda Urology Clinic, will once again offer free turkeys to their patients and others in the community who are in need on Saturday, December 22nd.

A spokesperson said, “The last time Bermuda HealthCare Services gifted turkeys to their patients and to needy persons in our community was in 2016. A total of 200 hundred turkeys will be distributed with the first 100 going to patients of the clinics and the second 100 will go to other Bermudians who consider themselves in need.

“Patients of the three clinics can collect their turkeys at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 22nd from Bermuda HealthCare Services [BHCS], and others in the community can collect their turkeys at 11:00 a.m. from BHCS as well.

“Dr. Ewart Brown and his wife, Wanda Henton Brown will be present to help the staff of the clinics to distribute the turkeys.”

    Turkey is all good and well but in fairness we need something to wash down the meat and cassava pie, some egg nogg or that famous London T___y Milk would go down well

    Free food always fills our bellies quicker than when you buy your own groceries.
