Berkeley Wins BSSF Senior School Netball
The Berkeley Institute won the Bermuda School Sports Federation’s Senior School Netball Tournament inside the BHS Gymnasium.
Berkeley and Saltus entered the final both undefeated. A last minute Kaamilah Nassir goal gave Berkeley a 8-7 lead, Saltus had the final center but a turnover in the dying seconds cost Saltus the opportunity to send the game into overtime.
Kaamilah Nassir led Berkeley with 6 goals while Amaya Butterfield chipped in two goals. Selah Tuzo led Saltus with 4 goals with Jade Johnson adding 3.
Nassir scored five times in the Semi-Final to lead her team to a comfortable victory over BHS Blue. Tuzo scored nine times as Saltus cruised past Warwick Academy 12 – 8.
