Education Dept And Principals Hold Meetings
Representatives from the Ministry and Department of Education have “held ongoing meetings with School Principals to discuss their concerns outlined to the Ministry in October 2018 and which was the basis for their work-to-rule decision,” the Ministry said.
Commissioner of Education, Kalmar Richards said: “The dialogue has been healthy in that all concerns expressed by the Principals were discussed.
“In addition to engaging in frank discussion, representatives on both sides have listened, made recommendations and put solutions on the table for consideration.
“It is the Ministry and the Department’s plan to re-group with the school Principals in the New Year to finalize the resolutions.”
