Motorcyclist Treated & Discharged After Collision

A 20-year-old motorcyclist has been treated and discharged from the hospital following a collision in Pembroke on Wednesday [Dec 12].

A police spokesperson said, “The motorcyclist injured in a collision with a car around 11:40am Wednesday, December 12th in the area of north round-a-bout [Crow Lane] Pembroke – believed to be a 20-year-old Hamilton parish man – was treated at hospital and later discharged.

“It now appears that the car involved was being driven along Berry Hill Road, Paget toward Trimingham Road and the motorcyclist was traveling along Crow Lane when the collision occurred, with the car ending up on a wall.

“The driver of the car was not hurt. Inquiries continue and any witnesses are still asked to call 295-0011.”
