Court: Man Denies Taking Two Vehicles

Tarik Ebbin, 21 denied two charges of taking a motor vehicle without the owner’s permission.

Mr Ebbin, from Sandy’s parish, pled not guilty to taking a black SYM on December 19, and he also denied taking a blue Honda on December 20.

Judge Anderson granted Mr Ebbin bail on the conditions he put up $2,000 for each offence with a like surety on both counts. He would also have to be fitted with the EMD and report to the Hamilton Police Station four times a week between 9am to 4pm as well as observe an 8 pm to 8 am curfew. Mr Ebbin is also not to have any direct contact with any witnesses and surrender his passport.

His next court hearing is set for January 14.
