Eastern CAT Officers Hosting Community Dinner

Police officers from the Eastern Community Action Team will be hosting their 6th annual community dinner tomorrow [Jan 6] at the Open Door Christian Assembly Church Hall at Southside.

A spokesperson offered special thanks to Kenny’s Kitchen who “came through again this year and prepared the food” and said, “I also need to thank my secret Santa and Dr. Kyjuan Brown who agreed to assist when the main sponsor pulled out at the eleventh hour. Special thanks to Southside Discount, Brunswick Street Bakery [Sharrieff Family], Mrs. Dorann Simons, Mrs. Karyn Dill, and all the volunteers for all your assistance in making this happen once again.
