Bermuda Harness Pony Racing Results
The Bermuda Harness Pony Racing Season continued with action at the National Equestrian Center on Vesey Street.
The afternoon got started with an exhibition race featuring Jon Simmons partnering Kiwon Waldron in the bike of Reign of Terror clocking a winning time of 1:13 flat, while Maurice Raynor in the bike of Shady Maple finished second in 1:13&1.
Dylan Desilva in the bike of Simsfield Hardtimes won Heat One the 1:03&4 & Faster Time Bar Class clocking a time of 1:02&1, Waldron in the bike of Reel Patrol was second in a time of 1:03 flat and Darico Clarke in the bike of Cherokee’s Ironman was third in 1:03&2.
During the 1:04 – 1:05&1 Time Bar Class, both horses put a leg out as Cameron Harris in the bike of ThisbabyRocks clocked a winning time of 1:03&3, with Christian Truran in the bike of Inwood’s Realist finishing second in 1:03&4.
Andy Stoneham in the bike of Wiggleit Jiggleit clocked a winning time at the line of 1:09&4 in the 1:08&1 – 1:11&3 Time Bar Class, Clarke in the bike of Rock On was second in 1:10 flat, Candyce Martins in the bike of Iron Mike was third with a time of 1:10&1 and Tahzii Flood in the bike of Kool the Fire finished fourth with a time of 1:10&2.
