Man Discharged & Woman Stable After Collision

A 22-year-old man hurt in a motorcycle crash yesterday evening [Feb 27] in Paget was treated in hospital and later discharged, while a 32-year-old woman injured in a car crash on Monday [Feb 25] in Hamilton parish is listed in stable condition on a general ward.

22-Year-Old Male Rider Hurt in Paget Crash Treated & Discharged

A police spokesperson said, “A 22-year-old man hurt in a reported single vehicle motorcycle crash that occurred around 8pm Wednesday, February 27th was treated at King Edward VII Memorial Hospital and later discharged.

“Apparently the 22-year-old rider – said to be a Paget resident – struck a kerb in the Trimingham Road, Trimingham Hill Paget area.

“Temporary traffic diversions were in effect while the scene was processed and any witnesses to this crash are asked to call Constable Chaquita Simmons on the main police telephone number 295-0011.”

32-Year-Old Woman Hurt in Car Crash Now Stable on a General Ward

“At last check this morning [February 28th] the 32-year-old woman injured in a single vehicle car crash that occurred around 2:15am Monday, February 25th on North Shore Road in Hamilton parish, near the junction with East Point Lane, was listed in stable condition on a general ward – after initially being treated in the hospital’s Intensive Care Unit.

“Any witnesses to the crash are still encouraged to call the main police telephone number 295-0011.”
