Hockey Play-Offs: Guelph Storm, Red Deer Win

The Bermuda Ball Hockey Play-offs continued at the PCC Hockey Rink with a double header that produced 8 goals.

Rimouski Oceanic 2 – Guelph Storm 3

The Guelph Storm scored two goals in the final period to defeat Rimouski Oceanic 3 – 2.

The Guelph Storm took the lead in the first period with Nathan Kowalski finding the back of the net, however in the second period Rimouski Oceanic would draw level when Jeffrey Loper scored the lone goal of the period.

The Guelph Storm went ahead in the third period with a goal off the stick of Chris Allington, Kyle Hankins equalized for Rimouski Oceanic, and then Adrian Stomberg scored what proved to be the winner for the Guelph Storm.

Red Deer Rebels 2 – Worchester Railers 1

The Red Deer Rebels came from behind to defeat the Worchester Railers 2 – 1 in the nightcap.

The Worchester Railers took the lead with a goal off the stick of Andrew Bonner, Jeremy Estey then scored for the Red Deer Rebels, and the winner came in the final period as Chris Grantier scored for the Red Deer Rebels.
