Free Entry At Ag Show For Children & Seniors
Thanks to the generosity of lead sponsor AXIS Capital and major sponsor HSBC, all children 16 and under and seniors 65 and older will gain free entry to this year’s Ag Show, which is taking place from April 11th to 13th.
“We at AXIS are pleased to again ensure free admission to children and seniors attending the Bermuda AG Show, a vibrant event that brings together people from across the island,” said Richard Strachan, AXIS Capital COO.
“We believe strongly in supporting the communities where we live and work, and as a proud member of the Bermuda business community we are honoured to join HSBC in supporting the AG Show.”
On behalf of HSBC, Chief Financial Officer, Phil Alvey stated, “This is a very important event for Bermuda, showcasing the talents of many of the people in our community and educating us on the important historical and cultural aspects of the island.
“Everyone should be afforded the opportunity to attend and enjoy this exhibition, and we at HSBC are delighted to help make that happen. HSBC is pleased to join AXIS Capital in sponsoring free entry for seniors and children for all three days of the 2019 Bermuda Agricultural Show.”
The organisers said, “This is the second year that AXIS Capital and HSBC, event sponsors, are providing free entry to children and seniors.
“Both AXIS and HSBC truly believe in Bermuda and have made it a point to not just sponsor the Ag Show and support children and seniors in attending, but to encourage their employees to volunteer at the event. This year’s Ag Show is a very special one as it is the 80th Ag Show held in Bermuda.
“We encourage everyone to visit our website, for more information about volunteering or attending. ”
