Sports Tourism Forum At NSC On April 30
The Bermuda Tourism Authority invites the public to a discussion about sports tourism next week, where tourism officials will share a recently completed sports tourism strategy for the island and answer questions about it.
The BTA said, “Developing the strategy and using it as a tool of collaboration with government and non-government organisations were action items of the National Tourism Plan, rolled out last October at the Bermuda Tourism Summit.
“Extensive research went into determining what sports are good fits for the island’s sports tourism strategy based on Bermuda’s geographic location, logistical capacities, industry seasonality and other factors.
“The Sports Tourism Forum will take place Tuesday, April 30, 2019, 5:00pm to 6:30pm at the National Sports Centre North Field Pavilion. It’s free to attend, but online registration is required.”
