Three People Arrested For Impaired Driving
Three people were arrested for impaired driving over the Easter holiday weekend from Good Friday [April 19] until the evening of Easter Sunday [April 21].
A police spokesperson said, “A total of three motorists were arrested for impaired driving offences over the Easter holiday weekend, with road sobriety checkpoints conducted in six parishes from the evening of Good Friday [April 19th] until the evening of Easter Sunday [April 21st].
“While there are no road sobriety checkpoints scheduled for this coming weekend, members of the public are urged not to drive or ride under the influence as police officers conducting their regular patrols will be on the lookout for any offences, including impaired driving.”
