Bermuda Netball: Rain, Teachers, & Flames Win
The Bermuda Netball Association Summer League Season resumed at the Bernard Park with 140 goals scored.
Rain defeated the BHB Angels 40 – 11, Jasmine Renfroe led Rain with 25 goals, while Diara Benjamin added 9 goals and Miesha Greaves scored 6 times, the BHB Angels got 8 goals from Charlene Bogle-Gomez, Drewshae Bascome added 2 goals and Marie Myles scored once. The MVP for Rain was Nafisa Robinson, while Terita Rae Bean was the MVP for the BHB Angels.
BUT Teachers defeated Old Kids on the Court 37 – 12, Kxiyae Gibbons led the Teachers with 15 goals, while Makeda Goater added 14 goals, Danielle Raynor would score 6 times and Tanika White scored twice, Charlie Bridgman scored 10 goals for the Old Kids on the Court, while Emma King scored twice. The BUT Teachers MVP was Mia Martin, while Lauren Beardman was named the Old Kids on the Court MVP.
Phoenix Flames defeated the PHC Lady Zebras 27 – 13. The Phoenix Flames would get 24 goals from Ebonie Burgess, while Shanelle Lee added 3 goals, while the HC Lady Zebras got 8 goals from Darrika Simons and Vernicka Symonds added 5 goals, Tahira Hill was named the PHC Lady Zebras MVP.
