Bermuda Hockey Academy Win 4Goals Cup

The Bermuda Hockey Academy Men’s team competed in the 7th annual 4Goals Cup on the campus of UMass Lowell in Boston and were crowned the 2019 4Goals Cup Men’s Open Champions.

The team played 3 games on the Opening Day winning all three games. The Bermuda Hockey Academy won the first game 2 – 0 with goals from Hemijah Bean and Donovan Simmons, they picked up a 1 – 0 in the second game with the goal scored by Michail Ming-Woodley and then they won 3 – 1 in the third game with goals off the sticks of Zahyinde Lighbourne-Cann, Donovan Simmons and Nathan Simons.

The Bermuda Hockey Academy play a further two Group games on Day Two losing 3-0 in the first game and losing 3-2 in the second game with goals by Michail Ming-Woodley and Donovan Simmons.

Despite the two loss the Bermuda Hockey Academy finished with the highest point total with 9 points at the end of the tournament and were named the Champions of the tournament and along with that the $1,500 cash prize.

Bermuda Hockey Academy goalkeeper Troyunde Davis was named tournament MVP.
