Women’s U20 Football: Guyana Defeat Bermuda
Bermuda started competition in the Women’s Under 20 CONCACAF Championships, matching up against the host Guyana at the National Track and Field Center Leonora.
Bermuda’s starting line up included Zahkari Turner, Koa Goodchild, Jenna Rempel, Zemira Webb, Trinae Edwards, Danni Watson, Emily Cabral, Nia Christopher, Jade Stewart, Adia Gibbons, and Ryley Simmons.
Jenea Knight gave Guyana the lead in the 29th minute, and Knight scored again in the final minutes of the match to push Guyana to a 2-0 victory.
