Andrea McKey 1st In Traditional Kata In Maryland
Andrea McKey recently competed in the US Capitol Classic and China Open placing 1st in traditional kata, 2nd in traditional weapons and 3rd in creative weapons.
Ms. McKey said, “I, along with my grandson Massanda Vaughans, travelled to National Harbor, Maryland for the US Capitol Classic and China Open this past weekend. He came 5th in traditional boys 9 and under. I competed in the over 50 category and came 1st in traditional kata, 2nd in traditional weapons and 3rd in creative weapons.”
