Warner & Whitter Advance In Tennis Tournament
Bermuda’s Antonio Warner and Mackai Whitter recently began competition in the Confederation of Tennis of Central America and the Caribbean [COTECC] at the St. Lucia National Tennis Center.
Both Warner and Whitter are playing in the Boy’s Under 14 Division.
Warner took on Tim Pasea from Trinidad and Tobago in a first round battle, with Warner advancing in straight sets 6-4, 6-2.
Whitter battled the number three seed Jamal Alexis from Trinidad and Tobago; the pair fought in a three hour match, with Whitter advancing.
Whitter won the first set 7-6 before Alexis won the second set 7-5, with Whitter winning the third and final set 6-3.
