BEU To Host “Open Mic” Event On November 15
The Bermuda Entertainment Union [BEU] will be hosting an “Open Mic” event at the Leopard’s Club for members and potential members on Friday, November 15 from 7.00pm to 9.30pm.
A spokesperson said, “On Friday Nov. 15th from 7 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., the [BEU] is hosting an “Open Mic” event at the Leopard’s Club for members and potential members.
“It’s a time for us to enjoy each other’s talent and company, food and beverages, and it provides an opportunity for one on one conversations with the current executive about your needs, and your vision for Bermuda’s Entertainment Industry and its development in the 21st Century. This is a free event.
“Auditions and sign-up will be held on Saturday Nov. 9th at the Leopards Club from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. Performances in stand-up comedy, song, spoken word, instrumental music and dance are being solicited. Each selected performance will make one presentation AT THE “Open Mic” event and be gifted a stipend.
“Members and potential members who work in technical aspects, marketing and promotions, and entertainment management are encouraged to lend a hand and attend. We are also looking for new talent who are interested in unionism and are interested in forging a new direction for entertainment in Bermuda by running for office.
