Reception Honours Scholarship Recipients
Athene Holding Ltd. and its subsidiary Athene Life Re, along with Bermuda College, recently hosted a celebratory reception for the Fall 2019 Athene Scholarship recipients.
The evening included a presentation of the scholarships to each recipient, as well as congratulatory remarks from Chip Gillis, Executive Chairman of Athene Life Re. Ltd. and Dr. Duranda Greene, President of Bermuda College. Both Gillis and Greene also spoke on the importance of fostering the next generation of financial services professionals in Bermuda.

As previously announced, the Athene scholarship program funds 10 fully-paid Associate Degrees at Bermuda College in business-related studies, aligning with Athene’s commitment to develop Bermudian talent and support Bermuda College in their mission to equip students for success in the workplace.
