Video: Weather Conditions On North, South Shore
A complex low passing to the north of the island brought inclement weather conditions today [Jan 5] with rough seas, rain and windy conditions affecting the island.
The Bermuda Weather Service issued a Gale Warning valid from this morning to this evening, and their forecast for today states, “Strong gales with storm force gusts continue through the afternoon as a complex low passes to the north.
“A rapidly moving cold front brings showers, some heavier around midday. Winds begin decreasing by this evening, becoming moderate by Monday morning and light to moderate Tuesday morning as a center of high pressure passes to the near south. Winds then increase strong Tuesday night, ahead of weak cold front.”
