BOA To Hold Athletes Forum On February 16
The Bermuda Olympic Association Athletes’ Commission will hold an Athletes’ Forum on Sunday, February 16th, with the forum focused on providing detailed information about new trends in athlete development, the BOA Stars programme, and funding opportunities that are available through Olympic Solidarity.
A spokesperson said, “The Bermuda Olympic Association [BOA] Athletes’ Commission will hold an Athletes’ Forum on Sunday, 16 February from 11:30 a.m to 4:00 p.m. at the Pavilion [Lower Field] at the National Sports Centre.
“The Forum, which is intended to become an annual event, is open to all local athletes and coaches, and will provide detailed information about new trends in athlete development, the BOA Stars programme, and funding opportunities that are available through Olympic Solidarity.
“The agenda comprises the following panel discussions:

- Panelists: Katura Horton-Perinchief [Diving], Julian Fletcher [Swimming]
Olympic Solidarity Funding
- Panelists: Patrick Singleton [Luge], Katura Horton-Perinchief [Diving], Branwen Smith-King [Track & Field], Brenda Dale [BOA Executive Board]
Athlete Development
- Panelists: Donna Raynor [Track & Field], Brian Wellman [Track & Field], Craig Brown [Golf]
New Trends in Sport
- Panelists: Patrick Singleton [Luge], Hazel Clark [Track & Field], Peter Dunn [Cycling]
