Football: BFA Name Concacaf U20 Mens Team
The Bermuda Football Association announced the Men’s U20 National Team that will participate in the U20 Concacaf Championships Qualifying Stage.
“Bermuda have been drawn in Group D as the top seeded team. The Gombey Warriors will open Group D play against Barbados at 4.30pm on February 19th,” the BFA explained.
“Two days later Bermuda will play Cayman Islands in the opening match of a double header. After a day’s rest the group’s play will finish with Bermuda pitted against hosts Puerto Rico. All matches will be played at Juan Ramón Lubriel Stadium, San Juan.
“The players are Rayquon Woodley-Smith, Amir Thomas, Samori Greenidge-Saltus, Arnezha Astwood, Seke Spence, Ayleal Dill, Senoj Mitchell, Diego Richardson [C], Simeon Burrows, Jaiden Manders [GK], Jalun Hassell, Jenico Sealey, Z’Dao Dill, Khiari Sharrieff-Hayward, Zaarion Swan, Malachi Trott, Zakiyah Lee, Malik Joell, Peter Silvester [GK] and Ne-Jai Tucker.
“The staff are Ray Jones – Head Coach, Kyle Lightbourne – Assistant Coach, Kiwon Williams – Physio, Martin Wolffe – Sports Psychology, Daniel Johnson – Goal Keeper Coach, Andrew McDowall – Kit Manager/Video Analyst and K. Charryse Bean – HOD/Team Manager.
“The winners of the four qualifying groups will move on to the Concacaf Championships that will be held in Honduras from June 20th to July 5th of 2020.”
